Join us for a webinar on benefits issues related to COVID-19. We’ll review the latest guidance for employers, including the relief from the Department of Labor regarding COBRA notices and special enrollment deadlines which, among other things, requires employers to suspend the deadline for qualified beneficiaries to elect COBRA or pay COBRA premiums from March 1, 2020 until 60 days after the National Emergency ends (or such other date as specified by the Agencies). We’ll also cover recent IRS guidance on cafeteria plan elections and FSAs, and the COBRA subsidy provision that’s part of the latest coronavirus relief bill (HR 6800) that was passed by the U.S. House of Representatives.
