September 24, 2019
1:00 PM CDT to 2:00 PM CDT

With record low unemployment, employees feel increasingly emboldened to seek compensation increases. Employers, who wish to retain and reward essential employees may be willing to offer higher wages, but lack robust performance data to rationalize a pay increases where appropriate or more importantly deny pay increases where they aren’t warranted. Furthermore, firms are under increasing pressure to provide wage transparency and ensure internal pay equity. This webinar will cover basic concepts of performance management as well as address important considerations when evaluating compensation programs.

Presented by Christopher R. Brown, MBA, SPHR., who over the past 15 years, has trained thousands of consultants, managers and HR generalists while supporting companies throughout the United States on complex HR, benefits and regulatory compliance issues. Chris focuses on limiting employer liability through compliance with relevant employment laws, the development and implementation of effective policies and ongoing reinforcement of best practices through supervisor and employee training.
