Join us for a webinar on HIPAA’s Privacy and Security rules for group health plans. This webinar should be attended by employees who use their group health plan’s protected health information (PHI) as part of their job duties. This may include employees in HR, benefits, finance, and information technology departments who work for an employer with group health plans that are subject to HIPAA, either because they have at least one self-insured plan (including a health FSA or HRA) or the employer receives PHI from the insurance carrier in connection with its fully insured plans. This webinar satisfies HIPAA’s training requirement and includes the following topics: developing a privacy notice, implementing appropriate administrative, physical and technical safeguards, getting business associate agreements in place, handling complaints, and responding to breaches of PHI.
